Before we left, I told the other women: the main thing I want to take out of this adventure is to continuously redefine my new limits as a mum. To say nothing will change when having kids is a lie. But the challenge is in finding new ways of doing the things you did and loved.

Finding our photo still hanging in the streets of our former barrio, the photo that was taken when I was only 8 weeks pregnant. And that was inaugurated when I was 7 months pregnant and now, caught the attention of our 1 year old girl ❤️

Inoa 1 year old. It really does feel like a massive achievement!!

This month was the first time in which I actually felt my surf strength back to how it was pre-pregnancy. So yes, that took me about 9.5 months.

I want to sleep until 9, but I also want to wake up at 6 to surf. I am so happy my body stopped milk production and we now take turns in the night, but I’m also so sad about it having stopped. I desperately need a weekend for me and myself, but with Inoa 4 hours in daycare I massively long to see her again. I want to surf, but I also want to do things as a family. I want to invest in my career and do a good job, but my brain is still all over the place. I am.. a thousand personalities, needs and desires in one.

As we’re waiting for the summer in northern Spain to kick in, let’s share some reels from Mexico still!!

The season has opened! Last week we went away with the van for the night: the first time to sleep in the van for Inoa!

For years now, @wanderon__ (Miranda) and myself have had the tradition to do a little travel the two os us. We’ve done roadtrips in Iceland, Morocco and Tarifa, we’ve traveled across Colombia, Ecuador and Central America. We’ve traveled in Cuba.

5 days in Mexico City! 🇲🇽 🌮

We’ve been enjoying a lovely swell here in Nayarit, Mexico the past week. Finally I felt secure enough to go for the 1.5m sets again (no photo proof available, just trust me on my word ;))
